I can declare to all of you today that I am back 100%
stage 4 journey every thing inside my body is back to normal.
After being rotisserized with radiation while being internally basted with chemo, no longer do I have to run to the john. I now actually sit on it like a normal person and push to eliminate waste. This has been going on for 2 weeks now. My energy level is high as hell. Today I brush hogged on the tractor for 3 hours without once feeling like I was going to crap in my pants.(this is so I can put in food plots for the deer) While I am now back to my normal crude, rude, tackles and socially unacceptable self, I have learned to appreciate life more then ever.
There is a drawback. I can’t, in good conscience, play the cancer card anymore. However, I can always play the chemo brain card to get myself out of trouble. That happens a lot with me. Folks, there is light at the end of that damned tunnel. Stay positive and fight the monster.

Kerry,
That is such good news!!! I like how your can't play the cancer card anymore but you hold tight to the option of the chemobrain card. Way to work it!!
Enjoy your good health!

Great Post
Thanks for the great post. Like so many here on the board I wonder if things will ever be the same. Great idea on the "Chemo brain" excuse. I'll have to remember that one if I can. LOL
Life is funny sometimes

wife brought up a damn good point
Hey, my wife brought up a damn good point. Ever since I got that damned port removed everything turned around for me. I got back the skip in my step. Hummm, do you think just maybe the mind plays a big part in how our bodies react to all the crap we have been and are going through. Think about it!!!!0 -
Congratulations
So glad that you are feeling so well even though it has taken some time to do it. We tend to rush things some times so its a good thing to hear that it can take 2 years or better to get to where we really want to be.
