Pixelation??
Can you elaborate on that term. I have never heard it. I have my 9 month CT on the 10th of May. I have never gotten a clear scan as I have four lung spots that keep showing up. Abnormalities in the lungs are common in about 23% of the population. Unfortunetly in many instances only prolonged scanning and comparison will yield a final diagnosis. I commend you in your relaxed attitude as I have had a difficult time with it. Best wishes and prayers on your results but don't get discouraged if it takes a few more scans to put the doctors at ease.0 -

The best I can describe it in laymans terms, not for the CT. You know when you watch TV especially HD and you have interence or loss of signal. Usually you'll see little squares that freeze on the screen or blur through, that's pixelation of they also say digitize.
Pixels are how digital photos are made up the sharper the image the more pixels. A pixel is just a tiny spot of color, when they are all combined they make the picture. The higher the resolution, the more pixels.0 -

Hey gravey
Here's to a clean scan!!!!!!
Prayers are with you, Gravey.
I do, as does the Government, and others on this forum, question the reliability of the CTs. Not sure what better option is possible, though. Do know my Sister's lung problem showed-up on an Xray. Does seem that they could monitor whatever it is over a couple months- to see if it's still there, and whether or not it is getting larger. They do have to catch the lung C at the earliest time possible, though- all agree on that.
Again- all hopes and Prayers are with you, that this is nothing to be concerned about.

2nd CT
Just got the results of my second CT on Monday, there is a "1/2 tumor on right lung now. I had Squamous Cell with Primary on left tonsil, stage 4, spread to both sides of neck down to almost the lungs. It was non operable, had horrible Chemo and 37 Rad treatments last year, now its back. Sh..t I did not expect him to tell me this. He said it is very serious. No treatment plan yet, just found out Yesterday 5/10/10. Still dealing with feelings over this news.

Try'n take it all in stride. Too many unknowns, now, to get shook by it. All it means is another battle is nearing on the horizon. Many of us will likely be there, too, and some, like Hondo, have already been there. Sorry to hear the news. Keep us informed, please, and

REPOSTED
For what it's worth, you might read the Post on 'The China Study' by Dr T Colin Campbell. In brief, they have found the our diet rich in Animal Proteins is definitely linked to high rates of cancer incidence and progress. Another book or DVD is called 'Healing Cancer from the Inside' - Mike Anderson, which discusses why cancer comes back as it has in your case.
I hope you buy the China Study book (or download it) and get to see all your family grow up.
PS Guys, the earlier posts are more than 7 years old !
