Another Opinion
Ann,
I think it's always good to get another opinion, and while this may not be the cure all, it sounds like good bet for some more quality life time. But remember, you must take care of yourself too. You can't help him and you not be physically and mentally strong. But I know you have heard that all before so I will get off of my soap box now. My prayers are with you both and may your reports br good.
Best,

I wish I would have found this site before I started my treament. As Steve said take care of yourself, my wife was more than a caregiver she was my sole supporter and cheerleader. She never took time for herself and was getting really rundown as my treatment was over a 4 month period. You are also more than just a caregiver Take care, Best Wishes & Prayers

Stay positive
Ann, please stay positive and believe good things will happen. I know how scary it can be while you are waiting for reports from the doctors. Don't let the waiting drive you crazy or make you sick from worrying.
I will keep you and your husband in my prayers.
My best to both of you,

It's a great place, if something can be done they will find a way. I completely transferred there after my initial treatment at a local hospital. Are you from Chicago? I am a native so if you need any help getting around ask or PM me.

Born in Princeton, Il., Ann. You from the Galesburg area, or thereabouts? Bloomington? Rick and Fire34 know about the U of Chicago, and I do not, but I have no fear of driving in Chicago. 80 runs thru the north-side of Princeton. Send me a PM if I can help. Click on the CSN Email in the left column, then enter my name on who you're sending the message to, and let me know any and all you want me to know- and if I can help. The three of us are with you and Burt, Ann. We are all family, here.
