Welcome Webozo
Hello,
I was a caregiver for my dad, Ray, who has recently passed away, 3/9/10. He had survived esophageal cancer, but in December he got mets to his liver, and could not beat it. You are right in being concerned for your daughter, and your husband. Your husband needs to see his counselor, if he has one. He needs to discuss his feelings. Sounds like he is afraid to. It is great news that your daughter is doing well. You are right, you do not need to go through manic depression along with hodkins. One or the other, but not both!! Your husband must get some help with this. Try the approach of not telling him what he needs to do, but nicely suggesting that he needs to get some help. Husbands never like to be told what to do! Ask him...what do you think? how should we handle this? Keep us posted, and the best of luck to your daughter with her progress!
