My Sincerest Condolences to Chuck and Your Family
Dear Kindred Spirit
Your story has been our story - I feel so blessed that I got to know you, even if it was only such a short time...my memories of you will live on forever.
You and I joined almost at the same time and when I first saw your post, I knew there was something special about you that I was drawn to.
I called you my "Kindred Spirit" as your nickname and sometimes you would sign-off to me using the same name. It made me feel like there was such a special connection to you...made me feel warm and comforted.
And I'll always remember you keeping the "Santa Craig" secret when you got your CD at Christmas (you were the 1st I sent it too). You had fun and joy in your heart that night and I could just feel it oozing through your words. And then, you got to "spill the beans" and open the post to tell everyone about it - it was one of the most fun and memorable things I will always remember about you. I could see the "little kid" inside you then, having fun and not thinking about your illness...it was so wondeful to see that.
I just wanted to thank you so much for your love and friendship over this past year. Thank you for letting me be a part of your family and for being able to share the good and bad times with you. Thank you for opening your heart to me and letting me in.
I never thought that this would happen to you - I had such high hopes that things would go on and you would be better. Your passing has left a big hole in all of our hearts, but for your family, I just cannot begin to imagine how you not being there, is making them feel.
You were like my sister - she would have been your age as well.
You have a wonderful family and I know they were the light of your life. My deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences to Chuck and your family during this time.
May you now find peace and comfort, dear KS, and I'll carry you around in my heart for the rest of my days here. I love you!
