Had my 1st mammo today. "Nothing to be concerned about, please schedule in 6 months." So, I asked to see the films. Looked good to me! I see my surgeon for a follow up next week and I expect him to formally introduce me to NED.

I have read all the posts about him - the little dreamboat - and I have our dance all planned. Since I'm 'a lady of a certain age', our dance is gonna be like the spotlight dance on Bandstand. The song I hear playing? Anne Murray's "Can I have This Dance?" (for the rest of my life....)

My hubby dove me to the appt - it's about an hour, and I just was so distracted, I didn't want to drive. He dropped me off at the door. After close to 2 hours, he was frantically looking for me, thinking that if it took so long, it couldn't be good. But, I came out beaming and we finally both exhaled.

I certainly hope your surgeon uses words that are more convenient for me than "Nothing To Be Concerned About." The best acronym I can come up with is that you'll be dancing with a tall, handsomely dressed African king named "Notoobeca."
