Hello everybody!!! So, I had another Lumpectomy about three weeks ago- this time on my right side. The good news is that I am clear! This time around, I have noticed that my nipple is constantly erect and hard, so whenever something hits it hurts a lot. Can anything help the discomfort?

    I used cocoa butter
    and it softened a bit. A little soft padding between you and your garments, and of course a little time.

    I kept using small ice packs on it for long after the surgery, whenever I was sitting around. The poor nerves are cut and mangled and are trying to recover!

    My lumpectomy was 6 weeks ago and the sensitivity is now almost gone. The nerves take awhile to figure out whats going on. Hope you get better soon.
