It's gone!! They took it out yesterday. I'm sore but I feel awesome! One more step forward!

    Mine's coming out
    On May 7th. The doc said he does it at the hospital but in the ambulatory section not the OR. Just numbs it and takes it out. Is it really that simple? I'm anxious to get it out but I have a big plans for that weekend that I hope I'm not too sore.

    Good for you! That must feel great! I think I will be making my appt soon to have mine out. My doctor originally said he likes to keep it in for 3 months, but that it's my option. Some take it out immediately. Well on May 4th it WILL be 3 months, so I think I'm gonna set it up :)) How does it look? Does it look better than that big lump that sticks out? I'm always looking to cover it up because I hate when it shows.
