I'm shy about discussing
I'm shy about discussing some things. I just can't post it. So I stick to stuff I can say. This is a public board and you don't know who is reading. When I first joined I didn't post on this board for a year or so. I've done a lot of yaking since then! Post when you can. Take your time. Someone is always here.0 -
Welcome King
Ya know what, you write anything you feel like writing. We all have common place here. I was shy when I first started to post on here,so I just got to know everyone by reading there posts. You will find after a while it's like we have known each other for years. Welcome, post when you feel like it.0 -
God led you here for a reason
Dear J. King,
God led you here to this site for a reason. As others here have said...we are all here even though we don't want to be but together with God's help we can help each other along this difficult journey to recovery. Remember when going through a war, there is strength in numbers and in your faith in God. We all talk to each other about our fears and someone else will come back with a reassurance and comfort to that fear because she has been there and done that and survived it.
Please tell us about what type of cancer you have, stage and what chemo treatments your doctor is discussing with you.
You can make it through this but you need to reach out and talk about it. It does not help to keep it locked inside and let it fester and eat away at you. I am praying for your strength and healing.
Much love and many hugs to you!

King this is one of the best
King this is one of the best places to be when one is fighting BC. We are all strong warriors and survivors. There is not only great support but a wealth of knowledge because we are either currently in treatment or have completed treatment and share our experiences so that we can help each other get thru this. Sorry that your health has lead you to this sight but so happy you found us.
You will find an understanding here that no person can provide unless they have walked this walk or helped someone very closely walk this BC treatment walk. Do continue to come back.0 -

I joined in Aug 2009 but was too shy to post but I got a lot of info and help just reading. I didn't actually start to post until I was thru with treatment in Dec 09. Take your time, you made the first big step.
You mite want to start by telling us when you were diagnosed, what type of cancer, lymph nodes positive or negative, what type of treatment you have had or will be having. Any lumpectomy or mastectomy? Questions about types of wigs, hair loss, breast reconstruction or prosthetic boobs?
We are all here for you to answer any questions or just listen to whatever is on your mind. No question is too unimportant...with breast cancer they are all important. Everyone here wants to help and give support to you.
We are glad you found this wonderful, amazing group.
Hugs, Judy :-)0 -
it's ok
It's ok to just read for however long you need to. I expect you will begin to feel more at ease someday soon. Until that day come, read the posts, learn and soak up the loving support this group gives. When you are ready, speak up. In this group you will find someone who has or is battling exactly what you are. And you will find that no one but a breast cancer warrior can truely understand what you are feeling----it feels good to not be alone in that. Welcome!!!

The ladies on this board have been thru alot so someone on here can give you any info that you may need. They can calm your fears, give encouragement, and give good advice because they have lived what some of us are now going thru. It also gives me great hope to know if these ladies can go thru then I can also.0 -

You are so welcome here, just wish we all had met to exchange info on something less life-changing. You've had great advice already so I'll just say remember you're anonymous here unless you want to ID yourself. Vent, rant, cry, exult...we've all done it and someone here has answered our need. I chose my name because it's what I told myself every day, through meeting new drs, having new tests and procedures, surgery, chemo, and radiation. Believe me, you CAN do this, and we can help you!0
