2nd Opinion Hopefully better options

Monday I have an appointment with a physician at M D Anderson, Orlando for a 2nd opinion after being diagnosed with liver and lung mets. I am hoping for more treatment options and some better hope for a little longer survival. (The 1st said the average being 24 months). I had colorectal cancer in 2006 and now have (3) spots on the liver and (4) nodules to the lung. My 1st diagnoses indicated that the liver is less than 25% affected but unresectable at this time. They also indicated that the lung mets were so small they weren't going to do anything with them and if they did try and remove them, others would more than likely show up. They want to put me on Chemo for six months and follow up to see whats going on. Has anyone been to M D Anderson with my type of a diagnoses? I have heard they have some of the latest in cutting edge treatment. I pray they will give me some better hope and more options for treatment. Thanks for listening.
