Sunrae thank you for your good news. Your doctors were so kind to let us all in the operating room with you, but I know for sure being as bold as I am, I would have scrubbed and donned my surgical garb and held your hand even if the doc said no. Heal my dear friend, get sleep, take care of those drains and keep that beautiful smile. My prayers continue to be prayed for you. Hugs, Hugs, Hugs.0 -
I'm SO happy to hear that everything went well. I thought it might be quite some time before we heard, but I'm relieved it was only a couple days! YAY! Sure hope you sleep ok... I was just so happy to be home. I only stayed in the hospital one night myself, but it was one night too many. They don't let you sleep through the night in those darn hospitals. The nurses will all come in and say 'ok, now rest... it's the best thing for you', and then they come in a couple hours later to take your vitals... like REALLY? Remember... a pillow tucked under your mastectomy site helps if you need to roll on that side. You made it! I'm so thrilled that it went well, Sunrae!

A big step completed! I can relate about wanting a a good nite's sleep. Once those drains are out that will help. So glad to here it's over and isn't it amazing that there is not the pain you think there would be?
Thanks for letting everyone know how you are.
Hugs, Judy :-)0 -

Glad to hear all went well. I have my mastectomy this thursday.
Just reading your comments helps me. Just can't wait to get it over and see what life has to offer me next.

Glad to hear you came thru surgery well and now you are home - the best place to make that recovery. Get lots of rest, drink lots of fluids and enjoy the Spring weather. Once the drain(s) are out, you'll feel even better.
Hugs,Sally

So happy to read that your surgery is behind you now and praying that you heal quickly. The room was a wee bit crowded, but, none of us wanted to be anywhere else...except with you!
