Lymph node biopsy
Hi Marciaz,
I'm so sorry that you are faced with so many issues at this time. And I know how difficult it is awaiting test results. It seems like my biopsy results always take longer than the doctors first estimate. Most of my results have taken 10 to 14 work days, but thats b ecause they end up going to more than one path lab. If it were me I would call my doctors office and see what is going on. I would not wait for my appointment. That said, my onc always schd. an appt to discuss the path results.
The best os wishes to you and your family.

Thank you so much for the input. I caled the Doctors office today. The Medical assistant told me she would have to track down my results, and bring them to the Docotr. She called me back about 2 hours later to tell me that she has my results and gave them to the Doctor to call me. I tried fishing for ansers I asked if she could tell me anything. She said she wouldnt know half of what is written in the report and the Doctor will call me back. Im sitting here on pins and needles waiting. Im not sure if this is a good sign or bad. Anxiously waiting0 -

The Doctor calld me back yesteday. she said she has a partial report that dosen conclusivly show cancer, but my lymph nodes are reactive??? i asked her what that means she sai it could be many things, she said it could be tht I might be predisposedto cnancer and we will watch. She also said that she is still waiting for the remainder of the testng to be completed by pathology....So do i still worry...not sure....has anyone had this prior to diagnosis. i thank yu so mch for your kind words. Hope all is well with everyone..0 -
