I have fuzz!!!!!
Too early to tell what the texture might be, but I can already see that it's gray on top and dark in back. I can fix that, though. Just a quick trip to Sally's and no one will be the wiser.

Six and Fuzz! Doesn't get much better than that Carlene!
Woohoo!! Hopefully I'll be there, too, in a few months!

You will, Leesa! You definitely will! I can feel it....but you can rub my shiny bald head for extra luck, if you want to - before it gets all covered over with HAIR.

I had taxol WEEKLY in that low dose and hung onto my lashes and brows for 6 or 7 rounds so I figured you had a really good chance of at least getting your brows and lashes back during your maintenance chemo. I'm so happy that the hair may be back, too! I am in the 'fuzz' stage, too, 8 weeks from my lasyt chemo. Mine is about 1/8" long, greyer than last time it came back, but I too will color it at 3/4"! (I did last time with no problems; just don't use anything with peroxide or anything harsh like that! I used 'temporary' color the 1st 2 months and them permanent color after that! I even had it colored and then highlighted when it was less than 2" long! ha!)
Fuzz is exciting! So SOFT! So irrisistable to keep running your hands over it! I pet my head all the time, and so do my grandkids whenever they sit by me! I don't look pretty, but I still LOVE my fuzz! ENJOY!0 -

That's great news! I love the feeling of the peach fuzz. I do tease Mom and tell her that hair is for sissies:)(I have a very dry sense of humor sometimes!)
Enjoy your new do! I really like the style of the one in your latest pic!You have such a beautiful face that it really doesn't matter:)0 -

You might want to use "Mane n Tail" shampoo. It promotes hair growth, so they say.
And take BIOTIN. It makes your hair & nails grow FASTER!!
That's such great news, Carlene! xoxo
I had my last chemo nearly 3 weeks ago and I am convinced I can feel the fuzz. It is almost white/transparent but I am happy because it is a sign that it will grow back.

hair
Hi Carlene,
I think I told you in an earlier post that my hair did grow back on maintenance. I don't remember the exact rate, but I have a lot now and still have three months to go... It's SO exciting! I was so happy to get eyebrows and lashes back, it was hard to make those look good.
I could have it styled short, but 'am waiting. I wear my wig and it hangs out the bottom and matches perfectly! LOL
Luv, Froggy0
