Wow!!!! It is been so long since last time I wrote something!!!! Last time i needed help for my adhesions problem...This time i just want to say Thank God for the Doctors that are helping me...No trace of the cancer after 2 1/2 years!!! No trace of the adhesions after 2 years!!!! This is amazing...I had to go out of the country to get treatments for both, the cancer and the adhesions, but thank God i found the right doctors!!!...I am still in a little bit of pain because of nerve damage during the canceer surgery, but here I go again, to look for a doctor out of the country to help me with this issue!!!! But the great news, I am still alive!!!Thanks

    How do you know the pain is
    How do you know the pain is from adhesions, if I may ask? Generally, that would be better addressed by a surgeon, I think.

    Where do you live, Doris?

    I'm so glad that you have been dancing with NED for 9 months! Where are you located? I love my gyn/onc, but he's in Baltimore Maryland. The doctors in the practice are all excellent and are the top docs in Baltimore (in my opinion, in the country, but I'm biased.)
    Dr. Rosenshein and Dr. Im and Dr. Ryu.

    Dr. Im is my gyn/onc and I absolutely love him!

    Dear Granpatty,
    I have a grand adhesion in my right lower pelvic area. It hurts when I eat to much and my stomach gets stretched out. It is wrapped around a nerve. I have been NED for 10 monthes. They are not going to touch it, unless it renders you unable to function in a normal capacity. I already asked. If you have more surgery, it will cause more adhesions. They can laproscopicly burn it, but you would need to find a surgeon to do it. Sorry, I spelled that word wrong. Thank-You, Paula

    I know because my
    I know because my alternative medicine doctors told me. They are 5 doctors that live outside the country. They show me in the cat scan where the adhesions are. I live in Colorado and 2 weeks ago I went to the Univ of Colorado Cancer Center to seek help and advice from the doctors, but they said they won't be able to help me!!!, so I am still looking for information. I found a group of Doctors in Colorado Springs, so I am hoping they can help me with this.

    Hello Leesa, I live in Colorado, but I'll go anywhere for help. I am hoping that some doctors in Colorado Springs can help me with this issue. I have seen around 15 doctors so far, and they can not help me. My alternative medicine doctors (they are gyn/oncologyst docs) live outside the country and I know they can help me, but my financial situation right now is not the best, so I can't travel outside the country. These are great docs, they even show me where the adherences are (we saw all the ct scans). I just cannot find the right gyn/onco doc.

    Hello Paula, thanks for your info. I actually found some docs in Colorado Springs that they do laparoscopies, so I am trying to get an appointment, we'll see what happens. In the other hand, my cancer treatment docs can perform the laparoscopy, but they live outside the country and my insurance of course, doesn't work in another country. I am going to try these docs in Colorado Springs, if not, I m ight just have to go to this other country to do the procedure. It is a shame the Health care in this country, with all the technology and studies, they should be the best of the best.

    Did I understand your posts (this one and the one where you discussed the specific alternative treatment you received) correctly? Your doctors - both gynecological oncologists - advocate the use of mushrooms to treat ovarian cancer?

    They don't recommend chemotherapy at all?

    Just wondering........

    Hi doris, sorry you are suffering from adhesions pain. I have had these in my upper abdomen for a long long time. Where is the pain at and have you gotten a second opinion as to that is what it is for sure.

    Now the problem with surgically removing them is, at least my understand they come back and can be worse.

    Hello Carlene, when I was
    Hello Carlene, when I was diagnosed with the cancer, was 1c, which according to the docs, required chemo, after the surgery, but 10 days after the surgery I started getting really bad, i was loosing weight (15 pounds in 2 weeks), I could not eat, not sleeping, not even going to the bathroom. I had to stay in bed for 3 months because of the intense pain in my abdomen. I had like 4 ct scan, and they always told me that everything showed just fine, that they didn't know why I was in such a lot of pain, so I declined chemo because of all the pain. I knew that was not the right treatment for me, so I decided to do research and found out that mushrooms where very good to keep my cancer cells under control. I decided to try natural medicine, and as soon as I started taking these medicines, I started walking again, my energy came back, I started gaining weight again ( I had really bad acid reflux and all the conventional medicines got everything worst, my colon gave me a really hard time, heartburn, all kind of side effects from all those medicines), so, so far I am doing well, my last ca 125 was 6.5, and I am feeling great. All these kind of treatments, with mushrooms, turmeric, plus the one with Bryomixol, gave me back my energy and boosted my inmune system really well, there is no trace of the cancer, so I might say, it might work for some people, it might not work for some others, but in my case, it does work.

    Hello BonnieR, well, the pain is in the abdominal area. I saw 5 of the best doctors in Central America, they check the ct scan and showed me the adhesions. They did explained to me about the procedure(laparoscopy), and also told me that they might comeback. I understand all that, but I can't live with this pain all my life, I can't even go to work because of the pain, and of course some of the docs that I have seen here, said that the pain might be from the Cancer????!!!! ( which I don't understand since all testing came back no trace of the cancer!!!), but anyway, if I can't get help here, for sure I am going to fly to Central America to get that help that I need. I trust those docs, they are great and they really treat me as a person/patient that really needs help. Thanks for your prayes and I'll do the same for you and anybody in the same situation.

    The stage at which you were diagnosed is on your side...with or without the mushrooms.
