Tina (Pghmomma)
Been thinking about you all night. Couldn't sleep.
Haven't heard from you. Wanted to let you know we all are praying for you and your family.
I am also in Pittsburgh. 5 minutes away from Presby Hospital. Can I do ANYTHING for you? Please let me know.
My heart just aches for you...
Praying real hard...Hang in there...
Hugs and prayers,
Trish
P.S. My "Pghmomma" (my 35 year old daughter) wants me to tell you that she is also praying for you. She has walked in your shoes. When her dad was in Presby Hospital critical care unit in November that was all she could do was hold his hand, too. She took a picture with her cell phone of their hands held together and suggested you might want to do the same.

Hi Trish,
So nice to see you on the site again! The latest I heard was that Tina's dad had the surgery to repair the hole in his esophagus, did well, and is now in the ICU at the Pittsburgh hospital in critical condition due to the infection in his lungs. She is having trouble because she thinks they waited too long with his lung issue. She did post all of this the other day. It was on April 12th under the title my dad.

Thank you so much for thinking about me! My dad is still having issues, but they are improving.. His lungs look a bit better from two days ago which is a plus. He is on a osilator (spelling) Its just a different vent. With Nitrus oxide. His platlets are low and they are slowly coming up. They said he has ARDS. He still is sadated. He started diailyas for his kidneys cause they dont want them shutting down. We are just hoping he pulls thur. The drs said he was always in good health and can see him recovering, but it takes time. He will need a trach as well.
I will take pictures. Thanks for the Idea!
Take care
