Yay me! (A blatant bit of plagiarism from Jen Lancaster)
Got my CA 125 results, though, and it was a little, tiny SIX. I couldn't be happier if I looked at the label in my jeans, instead of my lab report, and saw that happy number 6.
Just a reminder for you newbies........pre-surgery, my CA 125 was 4,000. And after my first chemo session, it went UP 200 points. So stay the course and don't let those big numbers scare you. They don't mean a thing.

I am so HAPPY for you! We all put a lot of faith and hopes in those CA125 numbers.
I had my CA125 taken yesterday, too, after a 2-month break from chemo following my 1st recurrance. I was thrilled to get my results of 34.6, as that is still a drop of 8 points since I had my last chemo 2 months ago. It verifies my chemo-onc's opinion that bowel inflammation may be what was holding my CA125 in the mid-40's range for so long (6 rounds of weekly taxol where it didn't really drop at all). Especially since my bowels have settled down since I stopped chemo 2 months ago, and my CA125 dropped on its own without the chemo! That means I get at least ANOTHER 2 month break from chemo! I may actually get HAIR!!!

Carlene,
Good for you!! Six is great!
Feel those low numbers with you on the labs. Get mine as soon as I get going this morning.

Here's hoping your CBC numbers are "high" and your CA 125 is "low" - very, very low.
