Muscle pain

I seem to have it in my arms and leg muscles and my shoulders.
It makes me wonder what that means. I will give it a few more days and go get that checked out.
After going through all this stuff since 04, and all the chemicals you get really panicky.
Hope you are all doing well.
Hilde

    Don't assume
Hi Hilde.... exactly a year ago, I was experiencing the same thing. It started with chest pains and back spasms. The pain got so bad, I finally forced myself to the ER. They told me I had anxiety. 15 days later, I went back to the ER in pain. CT scan and further tests showed nothing. I spent the next 6 weeks getting massage, pain shots, pain meds, anxiety meds trying to "fix the pain" myself. On that 6th week, I made my 3rd ER visit and had a 2nd CT scan; major inflammation & liesions all over my body. They admitted me, poked me, prodded, biopsies and a week later I was diagnosed with Stage IV, Non-Hodgskins Lymphoma and thrown into 1 of 8 chemo's two days later.

Lesson: DO NOT assume your pain is NOTHING!! Keep pushing for answers and don't assume it's something you can fix on your own! Good Luck to you!!

    muscle pain
Hi Keke: I appreciat your answer and hoping everything is ok with you.
I am still hurting and I am going to tell my Oncologist. I have had a pet scan a month ago and it was clear and will have a cat scan june 2nd.
I had 8 rounds of chemo last year and my last treatment was October 21 st.
then December 23 I had Zevalin. But the aches and pains keep me awake and when I sleep it wakes me up.
I am just baffled. What course do you think I should take after all this?
    Thank you so much.Hilde

    Keep those muscles movin'!
    HI Hilda
Certainly aggressively follow up with your doctor and grind until there is an answer. Also, with so many ways to treat muscle pain, please don't let yourself suffer. Ask your doctor specifically about getting relief from the pain and getting to sleep. Maybe a little exorcise will help. Even a walk around the block did wonders for my when I had chemo muscle pain.

    I wish you the best-
