Today I received the results from my PET and C/T scans. They both came back clear. Oncologist gave me a 99.999% bill of health. They did see two small (8mm) spots in the chest area. I now go next week to a new Doctor to get opinion on if I need radiation to rule out the two spots 100%. This all means that I have two more chemo treatments this week and then I am finished with chemo. This is the best news I have received since finding this tumor back in October 2009.

I will have the chemo behind me and move forward to investigate if radiation is the next step for me. Thank you everyone, again, for all your prayers, words of advice and encouragement. This site has been a blessing and I will continue to be involved and help anyone I can with my experiences.

    I have not been able to be on here consistently because of being out of town and sketchy internet availability----but WHAT GREAT NEWS! What a sigh of relief---even IF you need a little safety follow up chemo---it is still good news! I am not as good as others (William!) on here at keeping track of everyone and their journey...but remember when you got this scary diagnosis.

    I can't write much---many kids running around at the moment---but couldn't let your joyous news go without a ALLELUIA!!!!

    Hi Duane,
    What good news and I am hoping that those 2 spots can be ruled out or have a simple step to remove them. It is great that your scans are clear and I will be praying for a good solution to those spots. Out darn spots!!!! take care, prayers always,
