Scan and CEA all GOOD NEWS
Thank you so much for the prayers! I have blood work in 6 months and a scan in a year.
He scared me for a minute because he said absolutely no change on the little spots on your liver. Seems they saw a couple of tiny spots that appeared benign prior to surgery and my surgeon had biopsied one at that time. It was benign. One is a cyst and they think the other is a cluster of veins. It's just a teeny shadow but not any change at all in any of the CT scans. He said 'Gold Standard' is a look during surgery and both at my cc surgery and my gallbladder surgery, they physically checked the liver and could find nothing at all. He said, 'I shouldn't have even mentioned them to you!'

Absolutely - and we need to also thank Diane's surgeons and medical team for her successful surgeries - and Diane herself did her part.
NED is like baking a cake - it takes many "ingredients" to obtain the desired result.
It's a combination of the spiritual, the physical work of a surgeon with their knowledge base, and a solid medical team, that so often makes the difference in each of our cases.
We would be remiss if we overlooked the important role that we ourselves combined with our medical teams did to overcome these obstacles - physical work had to be done.
So congrats, Diane - you must be pretty relieved right about now:)
Onward you go....
