Weight Watchers - Weigh-in 04/05/10

Walked 4 days - 1 hour per day
Walked 1 day (Saturday - around 7;30 p.m.) - 30 minutes - right leg - back of knee - hurting so much that I called my husband to pick me up. Starting Thursday I became the Energized Bunny with 3 hours sleep per day - getting ready for Easter Sunday - cooked for 18 people (6 grandchildren and 10 adults)
(For the record, yesterday, Monday, leg was much better, but I walked 1 hour at noon.)
Hugs,
Janelle

Janelle, you are one
Janelle, you are one impressive lady!! Good for you on the total weight loss. That's just incredible and worthy of atta-girl's galore. I can tell you I would have also "cheated" with the cake you described; it sounds yummy!!! Well, keep up the walking and you'll be in that bikini before the summer is up!! Good luck!0 -

I finally gave in and joined. I had gained 15 poounds since starting Arimidex but I believe it has more to do with the fact I am eating more and moving less. My goal is to lose 30 lbs. but am not putting a time frame to it. One week at a time. Congrats on the weight loss. Keep me posted.

Roseann,
Glad to hear that you joined Weight Watchers. That's the attitude...one week at a time.
Weeks fly by and so will your weight loss..every ounce and every pounds counts. Let me know how you do? Right now Weight Watchers has a buddy program and I told my group that this site had my buddies.

Losing 5 lbs Alreadylaurissa said:Hi Janelle
Keep it up. I love your weigh in reports! I've started eating better recently, no sugar, bread, pasta-pretty much my favorite things. Lost 5 so far and feeling more energetic.
Losing 5 lbs. already is marvelous. Isn't it amazing what 5 lbs. will do! Feeling more energetic is wonderful. Keep it up.

Janelle,
9 lbs total is
Janelle,
9 lbs total is awesome. And a loss even with the holiday is great. I found (when I was actually watching my weight) that if I watched what I ate the rest of the week that overindulging a little on a holiday didn't have a negative effect (weight gain) so you did good. And keeping up the exercise is wonderful, but don't overdo and cause an injury that would keep you from your walking. Glad the leg is better. I have been doing babysteps in my walking but I do at least 15 minutes several times a week and I do some stretching exercise with rubber tubing that my hubby and I learned at a diabetic class. I am also eating healthier. I haven't lost much but I am not discouraged. It took me a while to get this 5' frame in such bad shape so it will take a bit to get it looking and feeling better. Your weekly postings really encourage me so keep up the good work and even when you have a bad week tell us because then we won't feel bad if we do.
Thanks for the update and keep up the great work,

When I'm not paying attention, the weight piles on over time. Then I want to start losing and it seems slow because I'm paying attention. Patience is the key to permanent weight loss. Time will go by anyway. We might as well have the pounds go with it!
