Sorry guys, it was very rude of me not getting back to you, but I have been posting on a lymphoma message board. If you remember, I’ve had lymphoma for 24 years and the last 23 ½ years I have been in remission until now. I had an enlarged lymph node in my neck and after pet and CAT scan; the nurse called and said there was cancer in that neck node and in my left adenoid. Since it has been so long since I had lymphoma, I just assumed I had NPC because of the adenoid. Well, they biopsy the node and found the same type lymphoma cells as I had 24 years ago. So going by the lymph node, they are treating me for lymphoma. Of course I’m thinking it could be lymphoma in the node and something else in the adenoid. Anyway I just finished my 3rd weekly round of rituxian, a drug that supposes to kill my type of cancer cells. I will have 1 more treatment, wait 5 weeks and redo scans to see if drug is working. I will let you guys know how it goes. And many thanks for thinking of me and again forgive me for being rude and not posting0 -

HI Coupe,
Yep we were wondering and concerned. Glad to hear from you, though sorry that you have lit up the scan again. We hope the Chemo is the fix and you can do another 23 1/2 years.
I was also curious of the last 23 + years, did you maintain any lifestyle changes, diet, meds ??? IF yes, did any of that change in the last 6-12 mths.
Hope your doing well.

Yea, I'm been going through my head wondering what I may of done to have brought this back on. No change in diet, no stress or married problems, money problems or other health issues. Been retired for 5 years and happy. My guess is my immune system is getting older (I'm 65) and it has just let me down. I'm a big believer in the immune system in fighting this kind of cancer (and most likely all other kinds). Just my age I guess.0 -

There is a Tread here about a stuff called Modified Citrus Pectin, I don’t know much about it yet as I am just studying it. You may want to get the post and look at it as the link is attached or just Google it, I am going to try it to help my immune system.
Here is the link for the MCP Modified Citrus Pectin
