Done with rads!! Done with treatment!! Thank you..

WOW...I did it! 33 dang treatments later and Im still alive. That was really tough. I am really looking forward to getting my life back. I never thought after chemo, surgery and radiation that I would see this day. It is finally here....I rang the bell today when I walked out and just started crying. I guess tears of joy, tears of bad memories, tears of relief that I am still here and able to ring that bell!
You ladies are beautiful and I couldnt have made it thru this without you all. Thank you so much...I will stick around and help all the newbies. I hope I can offer words of wisdom like you girls!XXOO..love you all!

So...by the way, Im partying tomorrow! LOL

    Congratulations to you! Did rads fly by for you? I start tomorrow for 6 weeks. I'm glad I live only 10 minutes away. Take care and have fun celebrating!

    Unfortunately I think rads were dragged out! But I had to drive 30 mins one way...keep on your lotions! At first it doesnt seem like you need them but once you hit that 5th week...bam, skin breaks down then it gets painful so keep skin very moist! It helps...Good luck!!

    Congrats Sam. Glad its over for you and now on to partying and celebrating. I have tears of joy for you. My surgery is in 2 weeks and then rads to follow so i'm behind you but hope to catch up soon. Have a blast and toot your horn. You've been strong the whole time and now its finally over. Have a great celebration.

    I'm so happy for you! I have one more week of rads and then I'm finished too! We are all survivors and lifelong sisters thanks to this site. Congratulations on crossing the finish line a stronger woman!

    Sam you are one heck of a BC
    Sam you are one heck of a BC warrior. Wahoo and congratulations for completing one heck of a ride down the BC road of treatment. Time to rev up the motor in that photo and start riding the fun road of life.

    I also rang the bell today and shed a few tears of joy. My 8th and final round of chemo is done. Got my neulasta shot today, set up preliminaries for rads, and running close to my finish line.

    I'm so happy for you. It's now time to get out, enjoy and have fun. You my dear friend have earned it!

    Yay 4 U Sam!! I'm so happy for you! Congrats! You rode that bull for what, about 8 months now? It has finally bucked you off! :-) I will raise my glass of Ovaltine to you tonight w/dinner to toast you & help celebrate, it's not beer & chicken wings, but my time will come!
