Blood clots

I was wondering if anyone developed blood clots when diagnosed with Colon Cancer? Last April when my husband had his first colonoscopy and we found out he had colon cancer, the surgeon wanted to operate immediately, because of 3 tumors, but instead, luckily ordered tests first. Ct and chest xray showed blood clots in both lungs. Surgery pushed off till end of April. He has been on 14 mgs. of Coumadin since. Goes every 2 - 4 weeks for blood work, blood is thinned to the number they were aiming for, but this month dropped one point. Getting worried that maybe cancer back somewhere. Just wanted to know if anyone else is having this problem. Thank you in advance for reading this post and God Bless all of you. Margaret

Thank you for taking the5678dance said:Blood Clots
I did develop a blood clot, but it was after my surgery. It is listed as a side effect of my chemo. Also, my onc nurse said she sees it a lot in mostly women, who travel a lot, and I do. Sorry I can't be of more help!
