Age 57 Male. Recently had branchial cleft cyst removed. Pathologist found minute trace of adenocarcinoma in interior lining. No sign of abnormal cells in lymph nodes, exterior of cyst or the stump of the cyst. Has anyone had or heard of a similar situation?

Thank you CSN Dana. I have done that but unfortuntately they had very little info on this particular form of cancer. Still looking though. Also have a second opinion pending on my pathology report which stated that the cyst was in fact the primary site. Hoping and praying that the experts at MD Anderson concur. Thanks again, and be well too.

My grandmother has just been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in her neck. she has a rare form and it has spread throughout her body. she has been told she is going to die soon and nothing can be done. she is going to have radiation to ease the pain but apparently it wont do much else for her. I am assuming that your cancer is in a similiar area. I hope you are doing ok now.
