Edit!
For your own safety, you may want to remove your e-mail from the post & pm people with it . . . Hope you don't get a bunch of crazies friending you--just US crazies!

I sent a bunch of our Warrior Sisters suggestions to friend you on Facebook, so have fun!
I love using both ways of keeping in touch and supporting each other.

FB????
I still don't "get" FB! It just overwhelms me, and I keep thinking I am already in touch with everyone I love, so why do I need/want FB? I do check in every 4-5 weeks, and find I have over 100 requests....I instantly back right out of facebook again! I don't know what the Farm thing is, and I don't know why we need coins for some things, and to be honest, I don't generally care if my 20-something niece is bored with March Madness, or ate spaghetti at so and so's house, or is cooking at a cyber cafe! I know, I know, it's just ME~ evidently I am one of the extreme few who doesn't understand the appeal of FB! My sister will IM me and ask if I saw the picture that her husband found and posted on someone's page...uh NO!
That being said, Enjoy the connection on FB~ If you have started a farm, you are already light-years ahead of me! LOL
Hugs,
Chen♥
PS...I get friend requests on Yahoo~ I don't recognize 99% of the names! I am not sure if they are people who are friends of other people and are just expanding their lists ( truly, who has 600+ friends, anyway???) or if they are Kindred Spirits from the boards and I just don't know them by anything other than their CSN usernames! :-) So...I ignore them! Bad on me! LOL0 -

Chen, I can certainly understand your delima. I joined Facebook while trying to locate my nephew's whom I had lost contact with since my sister's death. I was successful in finding them, but, like you, I am completely overwhelmed with all that goes on in that site. One good thing.....I have been "friended" by most of my family members, including grandchildren, and I can go in and read their postings in order to keep up with them. I usually don't post to their postings, as this is my way of keeping up with them without seeming nosey. They don't realize that I do read their posts, and sometimes I wish I hadn't gained the knowledge of what they are up to on a daily basis. It is fun, but you really have to be a computer whizz in order to keep up. I think you are wise to be a part of the system, but for me, I am an "observer" rather than a "participant". As far as Farmville...I wish I had the time to be a part of that, but sometimes the desperation I hear from those who are trying to keep their farm running makes even me anxious. I will leave the farming to others, and just enjoy their fruits and veggies quietly purchased at my local grocery. Have fun with FB all. Hugs. Judy0 -

You are not alone. I'm not on facebook either. It would freak me out. I guess this message board has to be my 'facebook'. I can't handle the friends list on here so I ignore it and figure anyone wants to can PM me anyway. Maybe we can start Overwhelms Anonymous. Who wants to join? :>)
P.S. Because it's anonymous you don't sign up, no one knows who is a member or not and we are invisible.0 -
