Not a New Joke, but one which describes us all PERFECTLY! We sooooo rock!
10 men and 1 woman.
The rope was not strong enough to carry them
all, so they decided that one had to leave,
because otherwise they were all going to fall.
They weren’t able to choose that person,
until the woman gave a very touching speech.
She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because,
as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her
husband and kids or for men in general, and was
used to always making sacrifices with little in return.
As soon as she finished her speech,
all the men started clapping …….
Have a great weekend my SMART, STRONG Kindred Spirits! You all inspire me and I love you!
Hugs,
Chen♥

You should see the great bigTaina said:cute
good one....
thanks a lot....
You should see the great big grin I have on my face. I've had a rough week, with my drs giving me so much conflict and not knowing what's going to happen in the next couple of weeks before my masectomy. I sat down and had a big cry because no one seems to know what I'm going thru with all my health issues and everything is up in the air. This, dear Chen, made me lighten up and cheer for this very smart woman. I'm going to be like her and hang on to the finish.0 -

I am glad that I gave you cause to grin and keep your fighting spirit. None of this is easy, is it? And yet...we are worth so much! Not just to ourselves, but to others as well. These boards are such a source of strength and encouragement~you can only begin to imagine how much of that I have gotten since 2003! I am more than happy to Pay It Back!

My husband and I both got to laugh at this one. It was much needed with all that has been happening, so quickly, since the beginning of this year. I was diagnosed with BC within two weeks of his loss of employment due to downsizing. It has been rough but things are looking up with my recent "good pathology report" and progress toward his finding employment.
