What's for dinner?
We had red peppers, asparagus, portabella mushrooms (sauteed in olive oil) and steamed shrimp over whole wheat pasta topped with a sauce made from the aspargus 'water', a spritz of lemon with 5 cloves of garlic and 1 tsp cornstarch. It was so yummy and just gorgeous!

with some slices of pear and organic spinach leaves wrapped up in a spinach tortilla. For dessert 1/2 of a banana. Diane yours sounded yummy (asparagus water, how clever I would never think to use it for a sauce base) and Rick you had my favorite fish...fried!0 -

I cooked Turkey thighs in the oven (marinade was Allegro). Then we ate a big salad with fat-free feta, parmesan cheese, Italian spices and turkey. Our salad dressing was from Publix. It is a Greek dressing which is low cholestral and low sodium. I don't know if this was healthy but we enjoyed it.0 -
Home-made Pizza!!
A family tradition for Saturday Night. As a kid my Dad made pizza every Saturday. We carried it on while our girls were home. Now it is just Pam and I. I enjoy making it Saturday afternoon with a couple of cold beer and singing along to John Prine on the stereo! Pam usually leaves for that part! LOL
In recent years we've gone gluten-free, organic, and vegetarian but it still works well!

Dinner tonight was pretty simple. A nice Parisian salad, mixed greens, dried cranberries, feta, chopped walnuts with balsamic dressing, along with a small pizza. Tina

You can eat kudzu? In that case no one should ever go hungry here in the south!
