Hugs ♥ Prayers
Dear Saundra, glad they are finally taking care of this for you. I was told off chemo for 30days by one and 3-4 weeks by another, so shouldn't be long and they well have you A-Okay. I agree the colon issues are way harder to live your life with. Prayers you are scheduled quickly, get all the tests done and then for a speedy recovery. Hugs ♥ Prayers Bonnie0 -

Best of luck Saundra. Hope you feel better soon. Is there any connection with Doxil and stomach issues? I may be getting diverticula too.
Bless your hearts! I had an attack of diverticulitis quite a few years ago, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I was sick, sick, sick.0 -
Hi Saundra
I fully appreciate your pain and discomfort. MY mum had diverticulitis at the same time as bowel cancer and the pain from that was excruciating for her. I wish you lots of good luck with your forthcoming operation & I will be thinking about you. Take care Tina xxxxxx0 -

No, because I only started Doxil in Jan. 2010. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis in May of last year. I did not have any diverticuli in 2005 with my colonoscopy. My gastroenterologist here say 90% of persons over 60 yrs of age will develope them. I am 71. I am thinking that chemo may have been at least partially to blame because of my cast iron system before having any....I now have a misshaped sygmoid colon which was not there. They won't say if it is from scar tissue, chemo constipation, genes, or some other reason which also makes me sceptic. Saundra0 -
