Good News Today
My onc called me this afternoon to tell me that she had a consultation with the surgeon she was recommending and they decided that since I have already finished a rather agressive chemo, that surgey to remove more of my lymph nodes was not necessary. I told her that she almost made me cry again and she asked me if I was happy. I said YES. What a relief. I was not looking forward to another surgery and all the problems that I know are possible with removing more lymph nodes. Now it won't be long before I can start rads and put all of the hard stuff behind me.
Thanks
Donna

Glad to hear no more surgery. That kind of news makes us cry for happiness and what a relief it must be. Now on to rads, one more step toward the finish line. Soon we'll be hearing you're crossing that finish line and then "CELEBRATION". Keep going, we're cheering you on.0 -
Well that was indeed happy
Well that was indeed happy news to start the weekend! I am grinning just thinking about how wonderful you felt at receiving that phone call! And I was thinking about your dr...how nice that she got to make that phone call! They deal with sad/bad news so often that it must be refreshing to call with happy news! And it couldn't happen to a nicer woman!
Hugs,

I am still on a high this morning and really ready to get on with it but my appointment with the radiology onc is not until the 15th of April. I am getting a little impatient. Want to get er done.
