1st chemo treatment in the morning

Tomorrow I have my first chemo treatment. I am having Taxotere, Adriamycin and Cytoxin. The ladies on here have such a positive outlook that it really helps someone new to this. I know I'm going to fight with all I have and I can hardly wait for the day that I can help someone. May the Lord richly bless each and everyone of you as you continue your journey and yet you still take the time to help us through ours.

    Tally I've said a prayer for you. Take the Lord and all His peace with you tomorrow. My first chemo was a cinch, but I worried all the way to the infusion center. It's fear of the unknown. I didnt get any side effects until the 3rd day after chemo. Drink lots of water, have apple sauce and soup on hand. Wishing you an uneventful day tomorrow.

    Just want to wish you good luck tomorrow Tally with your chemo. Praying that you get thru it with no side effects and if you do have some, they will be mild.

    Good luck today...I know you are gonna rock this and make it with flying colors! Stay on top of your water and side effects. Make sure you let us know how you are doing!

    Just saw your post, so by now you've probably finished your first round of chemo. I trust it wasn't as horrible as you feared. I finished my last round on 10/29/09 (but who's counting), did the same three drugs and want you to know -- you will make it through this. Keep a positive attitude and know you're doing what you need to do. I'll keep you in prayer and please keep us posted.
