Thanks for all the well wishes! I did see the colorectal surgeon...the take down is going to be a bigger surgery than I expected....will get the "zipper" surgery - AGAIN....and a 5-7 day stay in the hospital in May....don't get the "eazy" route...ergh! I am willing to try - and know that I am getting the worst case sernio...but I've fought like a girl during chemo/radiation...that I can keep my head in the game for the take down (reversal)..will keep you posted...
Thanks again for dancing with me!

You go girl and yes that take down is another zipper surgery.
I don't know how long you've had your bag, I had mine 2 plus years and with my rectal tumor that lower part of the colon had to be completely "retrained". It's not a cake walk and if you want to talk about, let me know. I will say it was tough and slowly got better over a 2-3 year period. Now when I think about it, I'd have it taken down again in a heart beat!!!
Get some depends for sure, really large ones that won't rub on your incision to start.
FYI, I had lunch with Adrian (the guy that lined us all up for the exercise study questions) and he is a HUNK!!! Happily married and lots younger but he is the same in person that he seems to be over email.
Celebrate girlfriend!!!
