The wedding!

Our son's wedding on Saturday was so beautiful! The weather was so warm and lovely, and the ceremony was touching, and I loved every second of it. Matt and I did the mother/son dance to "Baby Mine," which is the lullaby from Dumbo. This was Allison Krauss's version. So tender and so wonderful.

If you're on facebook, you can see all the pictures we took. I'm a little sad about losing my place as Matt's number one woman, but his Sarah is precious, and it's a great match. It was also even more special that the date they chose was Bill's and my 34th wedding anniversary. Hope the picture change comes through. It's of Bill and me at the wedding.

    I just read your post - thanks so much for stopping in and saying hi - knew you were at your wedding, but I miss seeing you around, you are always so supportive of everyone here...we can always count on you!

    I was just getting ready to say Alison Krauss sings "Baby Mine." You know she is one of my favorites - if you've read "The Promise" out on my Expressions page, my story about making a DVD of me singing "duets" with her is there.

    I'm thrilled for you that you enjoyed your son's wedding - how wonderful for you and your husband - and belated Happy Anniversary to you - the big 3-4, huh? Oh, my! Good for you, love a "love story" like that one.

    Thanks for letting us know that the wedding went well, I have been hoping for an update. That must be such a proud moment as a parent, + to have the opportunity to get to dance with your son @ his wedding - I don't think it gets much better than that! I have 2 daughters, no sons, but still look forward to dancing @ their weddings (should these occur!} I love the photo of you + your husband + belated happy anniversary! I guess it will be easy to remember your son's anniversary!
