i have no info about this too!!
i have been seeing my dentist frequently these few months because of a crack tooth. the dentist says that all of my tooth is soft. maybe is because of the RAI treatment thats been going on ( had 2 RAI in a year). i don't think my dentist has any knowledge about thyroid cancer nor RAI. i asked him about the dry mouth and the extra plaque and the tooth paste, but he has no idea at all.0 -
didn't know that
thank you for the information. I did notice that my teeth were a bit more discolored, but I just thought it was because I'm drinking more tea now.
After the RAI, my tongue was purple and I joked that I was a pure-bred chow chow.
Thank you again.0 -

Please make sure you research this information yourself first, before making any hasty changes. I suggest you look up information on Vitamin D (www.vitamindcouncil.org) and research floride information. I have Crohn's disease and have some of the same health issues associated with it.0 -

My dentist gave me some fake spit spray and mouthwash designed to prevent and treat the dry mouth associated with RAI and the decay that can cause. It is called Biotene and is available nationwide at Walmart, etc.
