is it horrible like an mri? i do not mind the ct scan but has anyone had the pet scans?
I have to get one and hate feeling like I am in a coffin like the mri's.

    Don't worry it is not so bad and they aren't long like they were several years ago. And it is not like the mri but more like the ct scan. Hugs Bonnie

    Azgrandma! I was very
    Azgrandma! I was very uncomfortable, when I did PET/CT scan January,5. And I was not under CHEMO yet. So this tyme, March,8, I told radiology staff about my feelings last tyme, and now I'm under CHEMO, it is even harder to control my feelings. They give me 2 pills. All I remember, it is going in mashine and out. I slept through (about 1 hour). You can ask also for some help. They know what kind pill to give. But some body have to drive you in and out. Sincerely, Zina.

    I can do it
    well if it is like ct scan I can do itI hate the mri machine it makes yu feel like yur in a coffin

    do they have to give you dye first, hope not

    pray mine will show i am cancer free
