thyroid issues

ME TOO
Hypothyroidism. I attribute this to, not maybe just chemo, but the multiple CT scans with TRIPLE contrast that I have had every three to six months since 2000, of the pelvis, abdoment and THORAX. I am taking Armour Thyroid, but don't think I'm at the right level yet. Still can't drop the weight, still having a few other issues. But it did help the extraordinary fatigue that was a huge giveaway when this all started. I try to focus on anything that's supportive to the thyroid, from specific foods even to the right kind of exercise that works for me.
Hope you start feeling better soon. It's one of those things that's just an unfortunate 'side effect' of this whole process, but I suppose a small price to pay in the long run.

I take Armour Thyroid, as well - 45mg per day. They have been hard to find here of late, and the 15's were impossible to get. We have to cut the 30's in half.
I had the thyroid issue before OVC was diagnosed. The meds have helped me regulate my body temp, but I still get chilled very easily.
