So very sorry Sunrae! You have been thru so much! Praying that you get strength to get you thru all of this. Give your hubby a big hug from me! Take care!0 -
Hope you get relief soon!
It's such a shame you have all of this going at once, Sunrae! Yes, it seems if you could at least get a break from one of them, the relief would give you strength to fight the rest. I had bronchitis once and I was totally healthy before that. It really kicked my butt! Up coughing all night alone was just exhausting! You are blessed in that you have a very loving hubby... I'm glad he is there for you! Praying for your strength one day at a time!
Hugs, Mar0 -

Sunrae, thanks for updating
Sunrae, thanks for updating us but I'm so sorry that you are not feeling much better. It's wonderful to read that you have an amazing husband as your caregiver. Rest your body and recuperate so you are ready to go next month. Post when you can and I'm sending strength and (((HUGS))) your way.0 -

good to hear the update although you are not happy with how fast you are recovering. I was totally trashed after chemo, I am now tolerating 1-2 hours of "activity" which is huge. It bothers me, my PT says I have to set different standards, and not refer to how I used to be. This is what you must do, (easy for me to say) I too want to get on and hate being held back, but you have been through the ringer, and your recovery will be slower but you will get there but in order to get there you need to rest and take care of yourself. so nice to hear how lovely your husband is. those steroids are nasty.0 -

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Have another appointment with my pulmonary specialist Thursday to see how I'm going to get rid of this bronchitis, may have to take another round of antibiotics. My immune system is pretty wrecked from all the meds but I have a plan to get my health back. Really getting into fruits and veggies, and low fat food. I feel so sorry for all you chemo and rad gals, it must be real hard to overcome all the poison in your system too.
I posted some pics of my year old grandson on my expressions page. I just keep thinking of my grandchildren and how much I want to be there for them over the next years. They range from 26 to 1 year old and each one is precious. They lift me up and I'm sure all your children and grandchildren do the same for you.0 -

Hi Sunrae! I'm praying for you, and God has a pathway for your healing. I believe that you are on the right track with the fruits & veggies. Broccoli is awesome! Especially raw in salads. Also raw almonds. Try to eat as much clean, organic food as possible, and lots of pure water. God has made our magnificent bodies to heal themselves if we give them a chance (rest, nurture & feed them with healing foods). I'm learning that we need foods and supplements that really support and strengthen our immune systems so that our bodies have the ammo they need to fight. HOWEVER - stress can override all our efforts at good health That's where giving our anxiety to God every day...even every moment if necessary... comes in. I'm still learning this one!!!! I'm praying that God will show all of us HIS way to support our bodies and His healing process instead of fighting our bodies along with the disease. Disease can't live in a strong, healthy environment. Ask God & He will answer & tell you in the most unexpected ways what to do!
Love and blessings,
