RADS - all done after today!

Hi all. Hope you are keeping warm. Sorry I haven't posted much. Been very tired from the rad treatments. Today is my last one! I'm sure I'm very excited about this even though my body and mind are half asleep and unaware. Celebrating with dinner out tonigth with the family. It will be nice to get some energy back. Thank you all for your support, your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated! Even though I'm not on the site much I've been thinking about you all and praying for good things ahead for you all. When my energy level does return I'll come and visit more often.     Hi Gloria, We've missed you but happy that the rads are over with. Soon you'll have your energy back and be your old self (Or new self). Now its time to rest and take good care of yourself. Have a great celebration.

    Gloria, thanks for sharing your good news!! Enjoy your dinner with your family and continue to post when you feel up to it. Also, continue to use your lotions for a couple of weeks as the effects from the radiation continues for that amount of time. Take care.

    A big congrats to you Gloria! Be sure, like the others said, and keep using your creams for at least a couple of weeks. I used mine for about a month. You are still "cooking" from rads and your skin needs them. Go out and celebrate!

    Thank you everyone! You've all been great with your advice, encouragement and understanding with me and everyone else. Give yourselves a great big hug for that! I'm still pretty sleepy at times but they said the radiation keeps working for another two weeks after treatments stop and in time my energy will return. I'm continuing the lotions and took the last of those pesky little stickers off today. My skin is looking and feeling so much better and because of that I am feeling so much better too!

    You will be tired for awhile Gloria. Still try to get lots of rest. So happy that you are done now! Rest and take good care of your skin!
