My Kelly...

Kelly passed this morning at 315am. My mom and I were there in the room as well as her hospice nurse. I was holding her hand and talking to her and feel that she went as peacefully and comfortably as one can.

Kelly had such a zest for life and strong fight in her which she's displayed to many people since her 2003 thyroid cancer dx. I know she's inspired many people and will continue to. In these last few weeks I ensured she knew about all the love, prayers and support everyone was sending.

I can't believe this has happened and really have no other words. My heart is broken.

Take care. Spend time with your loved ones. Tell them how you feel. Make memories. Talk. Laugh. Live.

    I don't really know what to say right now my friend, just that I know where you are.. my thoughts and prayers are with you every moment as you learn to live with this... Kelly fought hard.. your love for her she took with her ...her love for you will live on in your heart forever. Call me anytime I mean it.. if you just need to talk or just to cry or just to sit in silence with someone who knows where you are, I will be here for you... Kelly is no longer in pain... she flies with the angels now.. with my angel with TJ's angel with all the angels who fought so bravely and so hard. My words probably don't mean much right now but in time you will get better, you will carry on... Kelly would want you to do that.. she is with you always and forever.

    Lisa, I wish i had the words to express my sorrow at this news. I can only imagine how this has affected you. Please know that you will continue to be in my prayer and thoughs. My grandmother use to tell us when we were young that everytime you found a penny it was a new angel letting you know that they were thinking of you. So watch for those pennys, you have a new angel looking after you now.
    Anytime you need someone to talk to please feel free to contact me. Stay strong friend, you are not alone, you have friends who are here for you. Even if it is online

    Remember that we are there for you. Know that Kelly and you have been, and will continue to be an inspiration to me and my partner. I know words can't really express things right now, but know whenever you are ready to reach out we are still here. We send you our prayers, and we know that Kelly is in a place free of pain and hurt right now. She will be there ever close to you in your memories and in your heart. Again if you need me just call or email.

    Yes, unfortunately you do know where I am. Appreciate your prayers and thoughts. You're right - I have to learn to live through this...somehow. But...how? Yes, Kelly fought hard and to the end. Thanks for offering to be there for/with me. It means a lot. Kelly is now cancer free but without me and me without her. Your words do mean something to me.
