Hi Susan
I'm sorry to welcome you to this board, but as a relative newbie myself, I can tell you it's very comforting to be among women who are traveling the same road, so to speak. These ladies are wonderful and are very willing to answer questions and offer support! I am also 3c, recently had surgery and will find out about chemotherapy on Monday. I'm the 45 year old mom of one 20 year old daughter.
I do have to share this with the other moms out there, during a recent conversation with my daughter, I was concerned that she hasn't really talked to me or expressed any emotions to me about this. I wanted her to know that it was okay to be sad, or mad and to talk those things through like we always have. Here is what my beautiful girl said to me:
"I'm not worried, it's going to be fine. You're the strongest person I know, mom!"
How can any mother not try her best to live up to that kind of belief?
Hugs, Susan!

You found the right place.
Hello Susan, I'm also Susan,
Sorry to meet this way, but this forum I have found, really works well for a lot of people.
I was diagnosed May'06, I have no children, and I was also stage 3c.
Just want to wish you the best of luck through this new journey, and let you know that you have lots of support here.
Love,
~Susan0 -

Hi Susan,
You came to the right place. It's unfortunate that we all have to meet because we're fighting this beast of a disease, but I'm thankful everyday for the comfort I find here.
