Thanks for asking Sue. I have a PET and simulation tomorrow and the dye injection thing Wednesday, so I suppose I will know something about what they are planning by the end of the week. Seems like it is taking forever to get all of this in place. Just hoping and praying that the PET doesn't show anything unexpected so tht we can move forward. I am fighting something that feels like a cold that came on this morning. Don't want anything to delay this any further so hopefully I will be better in the a.m. I will keep you posted as the details unfold. Hope you are feeling more like yourself by now!
Take care,

Good luck tomorrow. I'll be keeping you in my prayers. Please keep us posted. Sending you positive vibes. The PET will just show that stubborn liver spot that one way or another is going to be zapped silly!!!!
Stay strong!

Pour in the Vitamin C!!!! I am feeling better, but just not to strong if I venture far from the couch. To my daughters point, it has only been two weeks today. When you spend all your time on the couch, I guess a week feels like a month!!!!
Ok...looking forward to heering what they say. Saying my prayers for the PET showing NOTHING new!!!!0 -

Well it appears that all the preliminary blood work, tests, scans, injections (lipiodol), imaging, simulations, casting, tatooing, etc.,etc.,etc. are in place and looking favorable for the stereotactic radiation. I am worn out!!! Three days last week, the latest of which had me home at 10:30 p.m. My radoch is thorough to a fault!!! The official reports of the PET were not in but she emailed yesterday that when she looked at the imaging she saw nothing but the original tumor. So in her own words "we are full steam ahead!" I will be receiving treatment utilizing the Trilogy Radiotherapy System. She is planning five treatments, to start as early as Wednesday of this coming week.
Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement. It means a lot!!!

Just thought I would mention that I found out this week that my radoch Dr. Hoffe was named Doctor of the Year at Moffitt. I was pretty impressed and feel very fortunate that I have become one of her patients.0 -

Isn't it comforting to feel so confident in your doctor???? I had the same feeling with the Surgical Oncologist. Felt blessed that i was in his hands.
Well this is good news Joanne. I will look forward to see how well it is doing it's thing!!!!
Hope you have a great weekend!0 -

Sounds very encouraging. I doubt the doctor would had said the PET scan look good if there was any doubt. Like I said, it's that small stubborn little liver spot that is going to be zapped and eradicated! My heart feels it's going to be okay. I know I'm not a doctor but my gut just says you are going to be posting great news soon.
Zap it, Zap it, Zap it! Heal, Heal, Heal!!!
Warmly
