Hi everyone that was praying and thinking good thoughts for me. I got my scan results back on Thurs. and again, nothing has changed, except my onc said they radiologist noted that there was a thickening in my colon. Onc said he wasn't concerned as I have had a really long and bad bout of diarrea this time.I hope that is all it is. Of course it scares me, but He is generally real honest with me about what He thinks. He is going to have me take a few weeks off of the irronotecan to give my bowel a rest. I will see him this Wed. to find out what else he thinks. I ended up in the hospital yesterday. I was trying to get ready for church and had to throw up. But passed out and landed on the bathroom floor! Boy, that was a first for me! I regrouped, called my husband and the doc on call, then spent a few hrs. at the er getting fluids. I guess I had dehydrated myself, even though I had really been trying to drink lots of water! feeling better today! Always something new. I am disappointed that the tumors didn't shrink, but so happy that they also did not grow or spread. This is a real lesson in patience. I continue to learn! Thanks for hear me out! Jean

when you have the runs.(Been dehydrated several times so far) Stability is also better than growth Never give up...SteveAnneCan said:I am really glad you haven't
I am really glad you haven't had tumour growth - stable is good! I am sorry you weren't well yesterday; I hope you are feeling better - dehydration is not fun! Take good care!0 -
good report
It sounds like you are battling very hard. Lots of good advice about the fluids. I think that was one of my biggest problems while on chemo. I was always dehydrated and it sent me to the hospital a couple of times to. Your scan results sound positive. Now that you have stopped it, its time to kill it. Good Book: Love, Medicine and Miracles by Dr. Bernie Siegal. Lots of tools in there. Praying for you.0
