Some Joy to Share
It may sound cliche to some, but I have witnessed a miracle and must give my Lord Jesus Christ the glory for her healing. In our small community there have been over a dozen churches that have faithfully prayed for her. I believe the healing came when we stepped out in faith and yielded to His will.
Thanks comrades and I continue to need your support and comments, as I know we still move forward in this Journey.

Good Job
Congratulations on the good report. I am a caregive to my husband who also has Stage IV colon cancer. We also received a fairly good report in January.
Anyway, I wanted to invite you to join the colorectal cancer board. It is quite an active board and the sharing of informtion is awesome. You do not have to be the one with cancer. I post there all the time and it is my husband with cancer. People on that board welcome with open arms the caregiver.
We share everything in that room, good reports, bad reports, good scans, bad scans, alternative treatments, radiation treatments, diet, etc. and the knowledge people share is wonderful. Just ask any question, any question at all, and someone will respond.
A few members have passed away this year, we share the good and the bad. Their spouses still come on the board to check in. A young doctor, yes a MD, only 34 recently passed away from colorectal cancer the week before Christmas. His widow posted how she and their 4 year old were doing and the response was tremendous. We reminded her that she was family and that will never change.
Anyway, just something to think about. Take care - Tina0 -
Positively good news

I've read many of your posts. I don't know whether or not I've ever made comment on them, but good news, for a change, is so wonderful to hear and so gracious of you to share.
I am my husband's caregiver - he's 68 and has Stage 3 Small Cell Lung Cancer. He has been through 3 surgeries and is now going through chemo. His next chemo is Tuesday and he just had a CT scan on Friday, which showed no change in the cancer but he now has a pulmonary embolism. Just one more thing.
The only way I can deal with all of this is to think it's something we're going THROUGH and there will be a good way out. Your good news will keep me hopeful.

Keed the faith!... I know it is difficult. Try to learn something about yourself during the bad as well as the good. This is your life too... don't let this take hope and future out of you!

happy apples, just wanted to say it's good to see you here again. I hope this week's chemo isn't too bad. Seems like I recall reading that lung c chemo protocols are similar to ovarian, which my mother went through last year. In those days, the miracle was Miralax.
Yes, this is something we are going through, and as difficult as it is, I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. I commute 750 miles to take care of Mom, and I think I'm up to trip number 18 -- not bad for 13 months. But all this is temporary, and in a crazy way I think I may miss it when it's over.0 -
Super!
I always like hearing good reports. Just say on top of things as I know you will. Celebrate the good times. Fay0
