Maybe one shot at a time? And it might depend on your age. You get a shot and see if it holds until you need another shot. And so it goes, one shot at a time.
Thanks for your reply,my husband is 60-he was 54 when diagnosed. We seem very confused by the 1 time shot idea. Is he rushing into it-should he get a 2nd opinion?? So very confused. We are grateful for any input. Take care.0 -

My suggestion is to find a hospital with an excellent reputation in cancer treatment and get a referral from the hospitals referral service…. If you do not feel comfortable you are making a mistake in my humble opinion…Lets us know what main city you are around and perhaps someone here can tell you here a good hospital or urologist is close by…0 -

Thank you so much for the advice!!! My husband actually called Mass General Hospital in Boston,Ma--we live just north of Boston! They are going to see him on March 1st. His original procedures were done thru Lahey Clinic in Ma. He feels so much calmer now that someone is actually going to talk with him and go over all the info. The radiation oncologist at Lahey just called him and said come on in Monday and I'll give you a hormone shot--end of explanation!! Thank you so much for helping us feel we are doing the right thing. Bless you all.0
