That's why we keep
Fed,
That's why we keep getting these stupid colonoscopies I guess....so they can just take care of it when, and if, it ever pops up again. Glad to hear that you did well and that your required no further treatment. I have not even had a polyp since my initial diagnosis, when I had one tumor and one polyp removed, but my Dr. insists on every 3 years...so I do it! I hope you are well too and that life is treating you fairly! I never gave up, never will give up, and know you will do the same! Be well my friend!0 -
Congratulations on your 11 year anniversary!!!
Of course I remember you ,at the time that I came to this board in summer of 2006 you were very active, I'm so glad to see you so happy and enjoying life,I am too, stage 3 and it's been already 3years and 7 months that I have been NED.
Hope to see you here again.0 -
Great inspiration!I am still
Great inspiration!I am still fighting with the uncertainty feeling of how our life is going to be after my hubby's treatment is over.It looks like life can be good and just as normal. Thanks to you for your post.0 -
Great inspiration fo me too..
Your story offers me a lot of encouragement. My husband is back in the hospital 2 weeks after his surgery due to an infection at the resection site. This is really a downer for us both.
After reading your post I have faith that one day things will be better and we'll continue enjoying life as we use to.
Thanks for your update

Excellent!! I love these kinds of posts.
I'm 1/4 way through my FOLFOX treatments for stage III and I totally plan to be NED after that. I ten more years, I absolutely have the same intention of posting this exact message you posted.
By then, I hope to have grandchildren. YAY!!0 -

Thanks for the
Thanks for the encouragement. I used to run when I was 20 years younger, but as life became busy I stopped. Maybe now, or at least as soon as the snow melts, is the time to start again.0 -
thank you 11 yrs and counting
Thank you Runner for your victory message...I am convinced that once we slay this giant called cancer, IT WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN...thats what I believe for myself and you have just confirmed that for me!!!!!! I've joined the 'fear not' club and with 7 more to go and the doc lowering the dose I am just happy because I know when my last treatement is over and I've learned all that God has intended for me to learn this test is over and I can move on with the best part of my life. This has been a 'bridge' from my past preperation to my future sucesses. THANKS AGAIN FOR SHARING!!!0
