The doctor has been drawing
The doctor has been drawing blood from me every 3 months. I am checkin' in with him tomorrow for my first visit since radiation- I expect he will take another urine and blood sample, pretty much a standard rountine every 3 months with a shot in the stomach every 6 months.
Most of the important stuff re your surgery he should have already shared with you at the time you got the cath pulled.0 -
Agree
Shane, I agree with Trew. Most of the stuff is usually covered when you have the catheter taken out. I go for my first check since the cath removal in a couple of weeks. What I would suggest you talk to your doc about is anything that you think is unusual, not expected, pain you might be having that you did not expect, etc. Good luck with your visit.

Congrats on the good news Shane. You are enjoying the feeling that many of us have experienced, and there is nothing like it. It is like a tremendous weight being lifted off your shoulders. Things will only get better as your body gets back to normal. Keep us updated.
And remember, POPC (piss on prostate cancer)0 -

Very happy for you! I am on the mend too...just in the last two days seems I am leaking much less virtually none...want to try to go without pads during the day but will wait until Wed when I see the doc to see how he thinks I should proceed.
Again It's great news like that giving us all nice thoughts and hope about our progress!
