What an adventure we had this weekend!

Blake opened a packet of oatmeal and proceeded to dump it on his head and ran all over the house, so I wouldn't catch him... Needless to say, I had to vacuum the whole house right before our popcorn and a movie.....age 2

Ava threw up on the carpet...then in her play pen age 1

Rylee peed in bed..... and woke me up at 3 am to change her and the bedding.... age 3

Blake woke up with the runs, and got it all over the bedding I had just washed

Blake got his finger caught on the wagon, and I thought he needed stitches

Kaiden got by... but he was the culprit that gave Blake the oatmeal! Age 4

Taylor, well Taylor, Ms Drama Queen....put over 8 gegabytes of video on my nano ipod and I don't know how to take them off. I went onto apple.com but they only talk about iphone video..... Age 9

What a weekend! But we did have fun!

.............Scan results on Tuesday! I had not thought of it until now!

    Grand kids
Aren't they great. It takes me two days to recover after a visit. Sooner or later they go home, and I start missing them about ten seconds after they leave.

    Grandkids are a strong motivator
Grandkids are a strong motivator to beat this crap. I have 5 from 16 to 4. On my worst days I fought to live as I do feel they need my influence growing up. I want to see and be a part of their milestones of life.

We live 100 miles from them and when they all come to the farm, they stay for the weekend. I no longer get upset when their motorbikes dig deep ruts in the trails. Now, after they go home and I see these ruts, it makes me smile. They know that this crap could kill me and have been great cheerleaders on the sideline of this battle.

It is up to me to show them I can and will beat it. What a great life lesson for them.

    Made me smile
*smiles* Made me laugh, because I experience that every day of the week. I'm the childcare provider for my 3 grandchildren (7, 2, and 9 months) every weekday. Sometimes I wonder! But it's a blessing, too. There's truly no love quite like that between a grandparent and a grandchild. Pure, special, everlasting...

    *hugs*

    The good thing about grandkids...
Is that you can spoil them, then send them home. And, if your kids complain...well, just tell them it's payback for all of THEIR antics when THEY were little!

But, really, all is better when one of them turns to you and says 'I love you, gramma!'...

Thanks for the giggles...I will probably not be a grandparent, except if Hans' kids have kids (so, I guess that would be a step-gramma...lol), so I live vicariously thru you lucky ones!

    Hugs, Kathi
