Unfortunately, Liver cancer
Unfortunately, Liver cancer is one of the worst cancers there is. Once it starts to metastasize it's generally in stage IV and not alot can be done. Diagnosing cancer at it's earliest stage is the key to possible treatment of this nasty disease. Treatment is the key whenever a diagnosis has been found but it needs to be started quickly.
Usually in cases like your friend, it seems that the cancer metastasized extremely quickly. I'm sorry to hear that your friend is going thru this and I know it has to be very difficult for u as well. Hospice can be very helpful and Ipray that the people working with ur friend will be able to help you all get thru this difficult time. If u r spiritual person, ask the Lord for strenghthin ur time of need. My prayers are with you.
. strength and your friend that ur there for her/him.0 -

I ask myself that question everyday
My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 secondary liver cancer with an unknown primary site. He passed away 5 weeks after being diagnosed due to an infection he caught becasue his immune system was destroyed by the chemo. He was a completely healthy man-only 55- and woke up one morning with pains-i just don't understand.0 -

Dear Loving and Lily
I would like to express to both of you my sympathies for your recent loses. I, too, lost my dad to ec with mets to the liver on March 9th. It is very hard to accept. Cancer is what it is. There is not much we can do to figure it out. Basically..it sucks. With all of the billions of dollars that is raised to find the so called "cure", makes no sense to me. I get angry some days and think the reason the "cure" has not been found is because they make way too much $ treating the disease! We all did the best we could to help our dads and friend. We have to have a strong faith, and know that now our loved ones are in a much better place with no pain and no suffering. Know that we will see them again and spend eternity together! Peace to both of you at this difficult time. And know that you are not alone.
