Hi everyone.
I just talked to the Dr. a little while ago. The cancer has move to more places in Al's spine and he also has spots on his liver.
We are going to try chemo very cautiously. The Dr's understand our position on quality vs quantity and at any point we feel it is to much or really isn't helping we will stop.
I am very numb, I can't really post anymore right now I'm starting to get really upset.
Love you all,
God Bless,
Kath

Ohhh Kath
I am so sorry to hear this...don't post when it hurts. It is ok to just be quiet and then post when you need to kick something. We understand.
Wrapping my arms around the monitor and saying "we love you and we wish we were there."

I WISH I COULD BE THERE
Kathy,
I wish I could be there to help you and hug you bunches. I cant even imagine what you are going through. I would be numb too, its like when you were first told he had cancer. This disease is ugly and i hate hate hate hate it. Once it attacks it likes to go to other places. You have did an awesome job taking care of AL and you have no regrets what so ever.
Just know we are here for you when you need us and no matter what you let us know what is happening
love and hugs

Love to both you and Al
Dear Kath and Al,
You are doing the right thing. Like I have said before, my dad is almost in the same boat as Al. I know all about quality vs quantity. Dad just started his chemo this week. We are going to see how it goes. So far so good. If dad does not like it, that will be the end. And...that is ok with us. We can not say we have not tried. His quality of life is far more important. Keep your faith. Talk to God. Keep us posted when you can. Hugs to both of you.

Thoughts and Prayers
I have followed your posts over the last few months and am praying for you. I can't begin to know what you're going through but will continue to pray for comfort, peace, and a miracle for you and your husband.
With my most heartfelt thoughts and prayers,
Jane0
