Hi, I am Jean and this is my lst new post! Thank you to everyone for sharing your fears, joys and news! I was touched by Buzzards post about going to share with other patients about what kind of support is available. I was dx in 3/08 with stage 4 cc. I am blessed to have a wonderful support group made up of friends and family. Last year my group supported me in helping form a Relay for Life team. "Team Turner" was formed and we had a wonderful time. We worked hard and raised just over $3200. We walked, laughed, ate and cried together during those 24 hours. We are doing it again this year! We will be handing out blue ribbons during the "Dress in Blue Day" March 5th. I guess my purpose is to encourage as many people as possible to get a colonoscopy as soon as they can so they can avoid this horrible disease. I hope everyone that is able will do something to encourage others. Maybe walking in the relay is not your thing, but maybe something else is. Thanks for reading!
You all mean a lot to me. Jean

very important to get the word out
I too do relay. This year will be my third year. We're Hope West coast because we live in CA. I tell everyone I know about getting scoped. If we had as many people informed about cc as the people are about breast then we'd be way ahead of the game. Keep up the good work!
