no chemo
I know how you feel. I was able to have all my treatments as scheduled until the last one. I cried all the way home I was so disappointed. But a few neupogen shots and I was good to go the next week. Actually you'll be a little stronger also so hopefully the last treatment won't be so bad. That was my experience anyway. Hang in there.

I remember that horrible disappointment. You see yourself all finished in your mind, and then BAM!; they pull the rug put from under you. For my final carbo/taxol I was delayed a week and got a blood transfusion during my 'wait week', and then STILL didn't 'make my counts' so had to come back in after ANOTHER 4 more days to try again. My oncologist compromised and gave me my final infusion at 80% strength even though my numbers still were borderline, as long as I promised to come in for Nuelasta and a blood transfusion over the next week. For me, it was pushing that 'end date' back in the calendar that brought on the tears. I had to take 1 week delays (with blood transfusions) each of my last 3 carbo/taxols and I hated moving my 'LAST CHEMO!!!" ahead over and over in my calendar. You have done so GOOD about staying on schedule. Please don't be crushed by this diasppointment. An extra week to recover usually does WONDERS for your counts. (((((Hugs)))))0
